Zoning Interpretation and Determination Letter Process

In pursuance to Ordinance G-5391, an overall fee increase to the current Zoning Fee Schedule took effect Aug. 1, 2009.

Please note the following suggestions for an Interpretation Letter :

1. Written request of information needing interpretation or determination
2. May include:
   • Tax Parcel Number(s) (APN) and legal description
   • General vicinity of desired location
   • Description of existing activity/use
   • Description of proposed activity/use
   • Zoning
   • Parcel map with site/area delineated
3. Check for $350 payable to the City of Phoenix (per Appendix A.1 of the Phoenix City Code)

4. Address letter to:

City of Phoenix, Planning Department

Phoenix, Arizona 85003-1611
